Tender Objective
The Department of Employment and Labour seeks to appoint a security service provider to provide continuous physical guarding and security services at its Provincial Office in Bloemfontein for a period of 36 months.
The appointed contractor will be responsible for maintaining uninterrupted security coverage through scheduled day and night shifts.
Scope of Services
The security service will include:
Day Shift
- Security coverage from 06:00 to 18:00.
- Monitoring and protecting the premises.
- Controlling and managing security activities during operating hours.
Night Shift
- Security coverage from 18:00 to 06:00.
- Continuous protection of the premises outside normal working hours.
- Maintaining site security throughout the night.
Weekend and Public Holiday Coverage
- Security services on weekends and public holidays where applicable.
- Ensuring there are no gaps in required security coverage.
General Security Operations
- Deployment of appropriately licensed security personnel.
- Maintaining continuous staffing throughout the contract.
- Managing shift rotations and replacements.
- Maintaining appropriate security procedures and records.
Technical and Pricing Requirements
Fixed Pricing
The tender requires a firm pricing model covering the 36-month contract period.
