Job Description / Purpose of the Position:
The Welder / Boilermaker is responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, setting up and operating welding equipment, and fabricating metal components using various welding techniques. The role requires maintaining equipment, ensuring quality workmanship, and following safety protocols to complete projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures.

Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for each job.

Weld metal components using MIG, TIG, or ARC welding techniques.

Inspect welds for quality and correct any imperfections.

Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

Follow all safety procedures and protocols while handling hazardous materials and tools.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements / Qualifications:

No formal degree required.

Proven experience as a welder or boilermaker preferred.

Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety procedures.
