Job Overview
The General Worker role at VKB Retail, Bethlehem supports daily retail and operational activities by performing a variety of general labour and housekeeping tasks. This position requires a physically fit, service-oriented individual who can maintain cleanliness, assist with stock handling, and support customer service operations.

Purpose of the Role
To perform general operational and housekeeping duties that support the efficient running of the VKB Retail premises, while providing basic customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain general tidiness and cleanliness of the premises

Perform cleaning duties in line with hygiene and safety standards

Assist customers and suppliers with loading and offloading of stock

Support stock control activities as required

Carry out ad hoc duties as assigned by management

Ensure general housekeeping of all work areas

Provide basic customer service support when required
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification

Ability to perform hard manual labour

Physically fit with excellent general health

Willingness to carry out general and cleaning duties
