Role Overview
The OUTsurance Broker is responsible for growing the company’s business insurance portfolio by building a book of short-term insurance clients.
The role focuses on prospecting, canvassing, and generating new business, selling both personal lines and commercial insurance products.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and generate new business opportunities.
Build and grow a portfolio of short-term insurance clients.
Sell personal and commercial insurance products.
Conduct lead generation and cold calling activities.
Develop strong client relationships.
Work closely with the Regional Manager and Commercial team.

Minimum Requirements
Matric / National Senior Certificate
Valid Code B driver’s licence
Own reliable vehicle with uninterrupted access
Minimum 3 years external sales experience in a face-to-face sales environment
Experience with lead generation, cold calling, and relationship management
Additional Requirements (If Previously a FAIS Representative)
FAIS Credits / Full Insurance Qualification
RE5 Certification (depending on Date of First Appointment – DOFA)
Reporting Structure
The Broker will report directly to the Regional Manager and collaborate closely with the wider commercial team.
