    Job Overview:

    Senwes Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Manager for its Hinterland branch in Welkom. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including stock control, budget management, staff development, and customer service. This role requires strong leadership, agricultural product knowledge, and retail experience in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Warehouse & Store Operations

    • Ensure smooth daily operations of the warehouse

    • Monitor and enforce security and safety standards

    • Maintain stock control processes and accurate records (stock cards, quantities, consignment stock)

    • Manage and support sales processes in the store environment

    • Ensure effective customer service delivery

    Reporting & Administration

    • Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports

    • Conduct and report on self-audits monthly

    • File and process documentation related to stock control and store performance

    • Monitor and report spending against budget

    Marketing & Sales

    • Report on promotional projects and marketing events

    • Develop and manage a marketing action plan for the warehouse

    • Drive sales within the store and support marketing efforts

    Staff Management & Development

    • Implement contract performance plans

    • Identify and support development opportunities for team members

    • Manage in-house training and mentor candidates during development

    • Oversee team structure, ensuring the right people are in the right roles

    Minimum Requirements:

    • National Senior Certificate (Matric)

    • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a store/warehouse environment

      • At least 1 year in a supervisory role

    • Knowledge of agricultural products is required

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong communication skills

    • Planning and organising ability

    • Working knowledge of POS systems and SAP software
