Job Purpose
The IT Lecturer – Network is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Information Technology modules within the academic faculty. The role involves teaching, academic administration, assessment management, and supporting student success while maintaining institutional academic standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Learning
Deliver lectures and tutorials for assigned Information Technology modules.
Develop and prepare lecture notes, study guides, and teaching materials.
Facilitate student learning through practical demonstrations, discussions, and interactive sessions.
Incorporate modern teaching methodologies and technologies.
2. Assessment and Evaluation
Design, set, and administer assignments, tests, and examinations.
Mark and evaluate student assessments in accordance with academic standards.
Provide constructive feedback to support student development.
3. Student Support
Identify and support at-risk students through mentoring and academic guidance.
Provide consultation sessions to assist students with academic challenges.
4. Academic Administration
Maintain accurate academic records and student attendance.
Participate in departmental meetings and academic planning activities.
Contribute to curriculum development and review.
5. Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory academic standards.
Participate in internal moderation and academic quality assurance processes.

Computer Network and Security
Linux Operating Systems
IoT Wireless Networks
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
BSc Honours Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
ORPostgraduate Diploma in a related IT discipline.
Experience
1–2 years of lecturing or relevant teaching experience.
Knowledge of higher education teaching practices and academic processes.
Basic research experience in Information Technology.
