Job Description:
As a Debtors Officer, you’ll be responsible for:
Maintaining accurate records of customers’ accounts
Recording amounts owed and received
Routine bookkeeping tasks
Calculating interest on overdue accounts
Issuing credit notes
Handling the recovery of debts
Allocating transactions accurately
Managing overdue accounts
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
7+ years working experience, with at least:
5 years in debtors and admin
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Fluent in Afrikaans and English (written and spoken)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with IQ Business / Retail software (preferred)
Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
Salary:
R18 000 – R25 000 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications
