Job Description
The Code 10 Driver will be responsible for transporting and delivering goods safely and on time while ensuring accurate stock handling and excellent client service.
The successful candidate should be reliable, accurate, safety-conscious, and able to maintain company standards during transportation and delivery operations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Transport and Deliveries
- Transport and deliver goods timeously
- Ensure safe handling of products during transportation
- Follow delivery schedules and company procedures
Stock Control
- Monitor loading and offloading of stock
- Ensure 100% stock accuracy during deliveries
- Assist with stock control processes
Risk and Safety Management
- Minimise risk to the company
- Report incidents and accidents to management immediately
- Ensure compliance with road safety and company policies
Client Service
- Maintain good customer relations
- Provide professional service during deliveries
Administrative Duties
- Complete delivery-related administrative tasks
- Maintain required delivery documentation
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 or NQF Level 4
- Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
