Job description:
The Business Advisory Analyst supports financial reporting accuracy, data interpretation, reconciliations, and client advisory functions. As the link between accounting and advisory teams, the analyst uses advanced financial systems to analyze data, spot trends, produce insights, and assist with workflow improvements. The ideal candidate must be highly detail-oriented, confident with financial systems, and able to manage multiple clients under pressure.
Core Responsibilities:

Perform reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Use Excel (Advanced), Xero, Fathom, Syft, and/or Power BI to analyze financial data.

Identify financial trends and convert them into actionable insights.

Maintain strong general ledger and journal entry understanding.

Manage multiple client portfolios.

Work closely with accounting and advisory teams.

Maintain high administrative accuracy and client communication.
Requirements:

Matric + BCom Accounting/Management Accounting.

Completed SAICA/SAIPA/CIMA articles.

Proficiency in Excel and Xero; familiarity with Fathom, Syft, or Power BI preferred.

Post-articles commercial accounting experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license.
