Job Purpose
To support the sales team and customers by promoting and selling products, managing sales orders and deliveries, maintaining stock control, handling quotations, and performing administrative and cashier duties to ensure smooth branch operations.
Minimum Requirements
Matric certificate (Grade 12)
Code 08 driver’s licence (essential)
Previous sales experience in the retail building trade (preferred)
Prior sales training and product knowledge (advantageous)
Comfortable using online systems/computers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Skills & Competencies
Customer-focused with selling ability
Organised and detail-oriented
Able to follow up on leads and quotations
Works well in a team environment
Ability to handle cash and general admin
Willing to assist with housekeeping and stock control
Can manage order capturing and delivery coordination
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell the company’s product range profitably
Handle customer quotations and follow-ups
Capture Sales Representatives’ orders accurately
Assist with stock control and housekeeping
Source new business opportunities
Coordinate product deliveries with clients
Perform general administration and cashier functions
