Purpose of the Position
The role focuses on developing academic material, lecturing allocated subjects, conducting research, and participating in community engagement projects within the Department of Information Technology.

Main Responsibilities
Teaching, Learning and Assessment
- Develop academic and learning materials.
- Present lectures in allocated subjects.
- Conduct assessments and student evaluations.
- Support student learning and academic development.
Research
- Participate in research activities.
- Produce publications and scholarly outputs.
- Contribute to innovation and academic development.
Administration and Organisation
- Perform departmental administrative duties.
- Assist with academic planning and coordination.
- Support organisational and quality assurance processes.
Community Engagement
- Participate in community service and engagement projects related to Information Technology.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in:
- Information Technology
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- At least 2 years of:
- Teaching
- Lecturing
- or relevant industry experience

Salary Information
- Total Cost to Company: R777,297 per annum
