Responsibilities
-
Coordinate HSE activities across campuses.

Monitor and assess hazardous or unsafe situations.

Provide risk management support and general HSE administration.

Ensure implementation of the occupational health, safety, and environmental management plan.

Assist in development, implementation, and review of HSE management systems.
-
Oversee construction management, communicable disease control, emergency and event management.
-
Establish HSE committees and coordinate HSE projects.
-
Conduct HSE compliance training and manage accident/incident reporting.
Qualifications
-
Advanced Diploma in Environmental Health or Safety Management, or equivalent qualification.

Registration with the HPCSA in a relevant field.
-
Minimum 2 years’ practical experience in the field.
Desired Qualifications / Experience:
-
Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Health or Safety Management.

Registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP).
-
4 years’ practical experience in HSE or related fields.
