Job Description
Motus Corporation is looking for a Finance and Insurance Manager to support the Hyundai dealership by providing efficient finance and insurance services to customers and the dealership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating vehicle finance, selling approved finance and insurance products, maximising gross profit and ensuring that all relevant regulatory, compliance, training, honesty and integrity requirements are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Achieve agreed performance targets in line with budgets and sales targets.
- Maximise second gross profit within a high-volume dealership environment.
- Provide vehicle finance and approved finance and insurance products to customers.
- Conduct financial needs analyses and recommend appropriate products.
- Provide specialised financial and insurance advice and support to customers.
- Manage and maintain the finance and insurance debtors’ book.
- Ensure accurate and effective administration of finance and insurance processes.
- Ensure dealership activities comply with relevant legislation and governance requirements.
- Record and report transactional activities accurately and timeously.
- Provide operational support for finance and insurance activities and initiatives.
- Educate customers about available products and services.
- Support customer retention and contribute to growing the dealership’s customer base.
- Increase sales revenue and contribute to overall dealership profitability.
- Maintain excellent customer service and effective sales management.
- Keep up to date with industry developments, legislation and product knowledge.
- Continuously develop professional competence and subject-matter knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NCA, CRA, FAIS and FICA requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Relevant diploma.
- Credit Management Diploma will be advantageous.
- Relevant Regulatory Exam qualification.
- NC Accreditation.
- Retail or Short-Term Insurance qualification with a minimum of 120 credits.
Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar Finance and Insurance role.
- Experience with a strong customer-service focus within the Automotive Retail Industry or Banking environment.
Knowledge & Skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation and trade practices.
- Knowledge of dealership policies and procedures.
- Strong customer service and sales management skills.
- Knowledge of retail industry compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of NCA, CRA, FAIS and FICA.
- Accredited by an FSP and mandated to perform NCA functions under a Section 13 mandate.
- Possession of the required Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points within stipulated timeframes.
- Strong financial analysis and advisory skills.
- Excellent administration, communication and customer-service abilities.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
