    Job Overview

    The Clinical Programmer is responsible for designing, building, and validating electronic data capture (EDC) systems for clinical trials. You will support eCRF/ePRO setup, database creation, edit checks, reporting, and data integration from external sources. You will ensure high-quality and timely delivery of EDC implementation projects and may serve as the technical customer contact during setup phases.

    Key Responsibilities

    EDC System Setup

    • Participate in setting up electronic data capture systems and forms (eCRFs/ePROs) for clinical trials.

    • Create databases and develop eCRF structures in EDC platforms.

    • Program edit checks and develop custom reports.

    Data Integration

    • Integrate data from and into external sources (e.g., labs, devices, ePRO).

    • Ensure correct mapping and data flow between systems.

    System Validation & Quality

    • Perform and support system validation activities.

    • Ensure quality and compliance throughout the EDC implementation process.

    • Maintain documentation and support audit readiness.

    Client Support

    • Provide technical support and act as a customer contact person during the eCRF implementation phase when required.

    • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to meet project objectives.

    Skills & Requirements

    Education

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information or Data Science.

    Experience

    • At least 2 years of CRO experience.

    • Experience with at least one EDC system such as:

      • Medidata Rave

      • Veeva

      • ClinCase

      • Similar platforms

    Technical Skills

    • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as:

      • Java, Groovy, C#, PL/SQL, Python

    • Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to technical changes.

    Soft Skills
