This directorate leads transversal reform efforts across Human Resource Management, Organisational Development, ICT, and Labour Relations — supporting innovation and improved governance throughout the FSPG.

Responsibilities:

As the Chief Director: Corporate Reform, the successful candidate will:

• Provide strategic leadership on human resource management matters across the province.

• Oversee the development and implementation of transversal HR policies and labour relations strategies.

• Lead the Organisational Development function, including job evaluation, performance management, and business process improvement.

• Direct the implementation and governance of Information Communication Technology (ICT) across provincial departments.

• Monitor and report on the implementation of all transversal corporate strategies.

• Conduct research and benchmarking to inform future policy and strategic direction.

• Manage budget, personnel performance, training, and change management within the Corporate Reform unit.

Qualifications:

• A qualification at NQF Level 7 (preferably in Public Administration) as recognized by SAQA.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience at a senior managerial level.

• Completion of the DPSA SMS Pre-entry Certificate (compulsory for appointment). More details available at: NSG SMS Course

• In-depth knowledge of public sector corporate reform, applicable legislation, and transversal policy development.

• Strong strategic thinking, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
