Main Purpose of the Job
The successful candidate will:
- Supervise the daily operations of the Accounts Department
- Ensure departmental goals and company objectives are achieved
- Maintain compliance with financial and administrative best practices
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision
- Supervise and support team members
- Assist with staff development and performance management
Financial & Administrative Operations
- Ensure billing submissions and receipting processes are accurate
- Monitor compliance with financial best practices
- Handle reconciliations and account-related processes
Patient Records & Compliance
- Ensure safekeeping and confidentiality of patient records
- Maintain compliance with healthcare and financial regulations
Minimum Requirements
Essential Education
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Essential Experience
- Previous supervisory experience or supervisory exposure
Desired Experience
- Understanding of the private healthcare industry
- Knowledge of in-hospital patient administration
- Basic HR knowledge and practices
Required Knowledge & Skills
Applicants should have knowledge of:

- Reconciliations
- Debits and credits
- Adjustment journals
- Medical aid and tariff structures
