    Job Overview:

    PEP, one of South Africa’s leading retail chains, is looking for a Store Manager to lead the team at their Trompsburg branch. The ideal candidate will drive store performance by leading a dynamic team, ensuring sales growth, maintaining stock and cash control, upholding world-class store standards, and adhering to the company’s low-cost culture.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive sales through excellent customer service and merchandising

    • Implement promotional activities and store maintenance in line with company standards

    • Minimise stock loss through proper controls, healthy store culture, and compliance with security and cash handling procedures

    • Maintain operational cost efficiency

    • Complete administrative duties according to company guidelines

    • Manage, train, and coach a team of Dynamos

    • Maintain store hygiene, health, and safety standards

    Minimum Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • Grade 12 (Matric)

    • Tertiary education in Business or Retail Management will be an advantage

    Experience:

    • Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a retail leadership role

    Skills:

    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite advantageous)

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills

    • Strong managerial abilities: plan, lead, organise, and control

    • Customer-centric mindset

    • Ability to work retail hours and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
