Job Overview:
PEP, one of South Africa’s leading retail chains, is looking for a Store Manager to lead the team at their Trompsburg branch. The ideal candidate will drive store performance by leading a dynamic team, ensuring sales growth, maintaining stock and cash control, upholding world-class store standards, and adhering to the company’s low-cost culture.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales through excellent customer service and merchandising

Implement promotional activities and store maintenance in line with company standards

Minimise stock loss through proper controls, healthy store culture, and compliance with security and cash handling procedures

Maintain operational cost efficiency

Complete administrative duties according to company guidelines

Manage, train, and coach a team of Dynamos
-
Maintain store hygiene, health, and safety standards
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:

Grade 12 (Matric)
-
Tertiary education in Business or Retail Management will be an advantage
Experience:
-
Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a retail leadership role
Skills:

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and/or Google GSuite advantageous)

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong managerial abilities: plan, lead, organise, and control

Customer-centric mindset

Ability to work retail hours and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
