    Purpose

    Lead and grow Franchise Partners and help Mugg & Bean become the brand of choice for investors and consumers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build strong, trusted relationships between franchisor and franchisee networks.

    • Optimize restaurant operations for efficiency.

    • Conduct restaurant evaluations and share best practices.

    • Provide on-the-job training for restaurant teams and managers.

    • Align franchisee goals with business objectives and attend lease negotiations.

    • Handle non-conformance through operations letters.

    • Manage regional franchise communication and maintain the Franchise Intelligence System.

    • Train franchisees on digital business platforms.

    • Assist with franchisee business plans, budgets, and financial analysis.

    • Identify training needs and coordinate interventions.

    • Monitor competitor activity and advise franchisees on marketing strategies.

    • Support franchise changeovers and new or revamped restaurant launches.

    • Prepare franchise agreement documents.

    • Address customer queries to protect brand reputation.

    • Act as brand custodian ensuring integrity across operations, development, HR, and marketing.

    Education & Experience

    • Matric / Grade 12 required.

    • Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Management.

    • 3-5 years’ FMCG or food franchising experience, ideally in a similar role.

    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Understanding of restaurant shift management and POS inventory systems.

    • Ability to analyze restaurant financials and recommend improvements.

    • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook for planning and communication.

    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

    • Presentable, energetic, hands-on problem solver with attention to detail.

    • Strong customer service focus, punctual, and well-organized.

    • Capable of holding courageous conversations and maintaining integrity.
