Key Responsibilities
Teach and assess undergraduate & postgraduate students.
Supervise postgraduate (LLB/LLM/LLD/PhD) research.
Produce quality academic research outputs.
Engage in community outreach where possible.
Minimum Requirements
For Permanent Appointment:
LLD/PhD in Mercantile Law or related field (NQF Level 10)
For 5-Year Contract Appointment:
Master’s degree in Mercantile Law or related (NQF Level 9)
LLD/PhD must be completed within 5 years to convert to permanent.
Also Required:
Record of academic presentations (poster/oral).
Manuscripts in progress or suitable for accredited publication.
A full academic record.
Recommended:
Experience in postgraduate supervision.
Knowledge in Corporate Law or Labour Law.
