Primary Purpose
-
Manage key accounts and ensure KPIs and customer service levels are met

Grow sales in existing and new retail stores

Manage expense budgets
Key Duties & Responsibilities
-
Set annual sales and expense budgets
-
Develop pricing strategy and manage product listings
-
Source products and calculate order quantities for stock cover
-
Coordinate with local production to maintain stock levels and meet launch dates
-
Analyze customer stock and sales reports, and take necessary action
-
Communicate with customer buying, planning, and technology teams
-
Build and maintain relationships with key service providers and clients
-
Manage equipment budget and oversee new equipment design and implementation
-
Communicate supplier details and payments with finance
-
Approve write-offs
Desired Experience & Qualifications
-
Minimum Grade 12
-
Sales/Marketing degree or related certificate advantageous
-
At least 5 years’ experience as a buyer or Key Account Manager in retail
-
Strong skills in Key Account Management and negotiation
