Job Overview
VKB Group is seeking a hardworking and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join its VKB Retail team in Bethlehem.
The successful candidate will assist with customer service, stock handling, product displays and general store operations. The role requires someone who is physically fit, dependable, accurate and able to work effectively in a team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist customers with loading products and providing product information.
Receive, move and pack stock accurately and safely.
Ensure stock is properly displayed and replenished.
Maintain cleanliness and order on the depot floor.
Assist with general operational and housekeeping duties.
Support colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
Uphold company values and maintain a safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification.
Previous experience in a depot or retail environment will be an advantage.
Knowledge of Johnson’s clothing will be an added advantage.
Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
Must have a clear criminal record.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work weekends and public holidays according to a roster.
