Job Description
VKB Group is seeking a motivated, customer-focused and detail-oriented Learner Branch Marketer to join its VKB Retail team in Heilbron, Free State.
The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling products, assisting customers, managing stock levels and ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and readily available.
The role involves customer service, sales support, product marketing, merchandising and stock control. The ideal candidate should be organised, dependable, proactive and willing to learn while contributing to the smooth daily operations of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
Sell merchandise in line with agreed sales targets.
Promote and market products to customers.
Assist customers with product selection and enquiries.
Manage stock levels to ensure product availability.
Monitor stock movement and support effective stock control processes.
Merchandise products according to branch standards.
Replenish stock on shelves and displays when required.
Respond to and resolve customer queries within approved mandates.
Maintain a clean, organised and professional working environment.
Support branch operations through effective teamwork.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Contribute to continuous improvement within the branch.
Build and maintain positive customer relationships.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
– Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in retail, sales, merchandising, stock control or customer service will be advantageous.
Must have a clear criminal record.
Ability to communicate effectively in both Afrikaans and English, spoken and written.
Willingness to learn and grow within the organisation.
Friendly and professional attitude when dealing with customers.
