Job Description
The Higher Education Consultant (HEC) is responsible for recruiting prospective students, converting sales leads into enrolments, and providing educational guidance to help students choose suitable academic programmes. The role combines sales, customer relationship management, educational consulting, and student recruitment.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will drive student enrolment growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the student recruitment journey.
Key Responsibilities
Student Recruitment and Sales
- Convert prospective student leads into applications and enrolments.
- Contact and qualify leads generated from schools, digital platforms, and marketing campaigns.
- Conduct consultations with prospective students and parents.
- Promote Eduvos qualifications, programmes, and study options.
- Achieve enrolment and revenue targets.
Educational Consulting
- Advise prospective students on suitable programmes and career pathways.
- Explain admission requirements, programme structures, and study opportunities.
- Guide students through the application and registration process.
- Assist students in making informed educational decisions.
Lead Management
- Qualify transfer calls and school-generated leads.
- Manage lead pipelines effectively.
- Follow up on applications and enquiries.
- Nurture prospective students from enquiry stage through enrolment.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, schools, and stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and communication throughout the enrolment process.
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused experience.
Sales and Marketing Activities
- Participate in:
- School visits
- Career exhibitions
- Open days
- Recruitment events
- Marketing campaigns
- Generate new student leads through networking and outreach activities.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Capture and maintain accurate student records.
- Utilise institutional systems for lead tracking and reporting.
- Ensure all application information is complete and accurate.
- Monitor sales performance and conversion statistics.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in:
- Commerce
- Education
- Social Sciences
- Marketing
- Related field
Experience
- At least 2 years’ sales experience with a proven track record.
- At least 2 years’ customer relationship management or account management experience.
- Higher education sector experience will be advantageous.
- Teaching experience (2 years) will be advantageous.
Additional Requirements

- Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
