Job Description
The Human Resource Practitioner is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies, providing advisory services, and supporting strategic HR initiatives.
The role also includes contributing to workforce planning and ensuring compliance with Employment Equity and other HR regulations.
Key Responsibilities
HR Planning & Policy

Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies
-
Support HR planning processes within the department
-
Contribute to the three-year MTEF (Medium-Term Expenditure Framework) Plan
Advisory & Support
-
Provide HR advisory services to management and staff
-
Promote an effective and compliant HR environment
Training & Communication
-
Present and coordinate HR information sessions
-
Ensure employees are informed about HR policies and procedures
Compliance
-
Support implementation of the Employment Equity Plan

Ensure compliance with HR legislation and directives
Minimum Requirements
-
National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in:
-
Human Resource Management / Public Administration / Public Management
-
Or equivalent qualification (recognized by SAQA)
-
-
1–2 years’ experience in Human Resource Planning
-
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge Required
