    Objective

    The objective of this tender is to appoint a qualified fencing contractor to carry out stock-proof fencing works, repair existing steel fencing, and clear bushes at Glen College. The project aims to improve security, functionality, and infrastructure protection at the institution.

    Scope of Work

    The scope includes, but is not limited to:

    • Construction of 6 km of 6-standard stock-proof fencing in accordance with prescribed standards

    • Repair and rehabilitation of existing old steel fencing

    • Clearing of bushes and vegetation along and around the fence line

    • Removal of obstructions that may compromise fence integrity or visibility

    • Ensuring the fence is durable, stock-proof, and fit for agricultural use

    Technical Requirements

    The appointed contractor must:

    • Hold a valid CIDB grading of 2SQ or higher

    • Use materials and workmanship that comply with stock-proof fencing standards

    • Ensure all fence repairs restore structural strength and functionality

    • Carry out bush clearing safely and effectively

    • Comply with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations

    • Complete the works within the stipulated timeframe

    Skills and Experience Requirements

    Tenderers must demonstrate:

    • Proven experience in fencing construction and repairs

    • Experience in bush clearing and site preparation

    • Technical capability to deliver agricultural and security fencing projects

    • Ability to manage labour, materials, and site activities efficiently

    • Capacity to complete work to required quality standards and deadlines
