 Objective

To appoint a qualified contractor for the refurbishment of the Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) and Pump Station in Villiers/Qalabotjha under MIG Schedule 6B, aimed at restoring operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with relevant wastewater treatment standards.

 Scope of Work

The project includes:

• Refurbishment of existing wastewater treatment infrastructure

• Upgrading and rehabilitation of the pump station

• Restoration of mechanical, electrical, and civil components

• Compliance with applicable environmental and engineering standards

• Execution of works in accordance with the issued tender documentation

 Technical & Compliance Requirements

Only bidders meeting the following eligibility criteria will be evaluated:

1. CIDB Registration

   • Must be registered with CIDB with a grading of 4ME or higher

   • Submit valid CIDB grading certificate or confirmation letter

   • Registration must align with the tendered project value

2. Joint Venture Requirements (if applicable)

   • All members must be CIDB registered

   • Lead partner must have 4ME or higher (or not more than one level below, with recognition status)

   • Combined grading must meet or exceed required 4ME grading

3. Compulsory Briefing Attendance

   • Attendance register must be signed

4. Tender Documentation Compliance

   • Submit only on official issued documentation

   • No correction fluid allowed in pricing schedules or BOQ

   • Errors must be struck through with a single line and initialled

5. Submission Requirements

   • Proper sealing, addressing, and delivery as per Tender Data

 Skills & Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in wastewater treatment works refurbishment

• Civil, mechanical, and electrical construction capability

• Demonstrated compliance with construction regulations

• Capacity to execute medium-scale infrastructure projects (4ME classification)

• Ability to meet timelines and quality standards
