    Senior Financial Administration Clerk: Bookkeeping FSPT 029/25

The department is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible individual to fill the position of Senior Financial Administration Clerk: Bookkeeping. The successful candidate will assist with financial transactions, claims, and account management to support informed financial decision-making.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement and administer all financial transactions and documents using the Basic Accounting System (BAS) in line with approved delegations and policies.

    • Manage administrative processes related to cellphone, USB, and departmental telephone accounts.

    • Administer claims payable and claims recoverable accounts for the department.

    • Prepare accurate financial reports on administrative matters to support decision-making.

    Qualifications:

    • A Grade 12 Certificate.

    • Relevant experience within the Public Service environment.

    • Knowledge of:

      • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)

      • Public Service Regulations

    • Computer literacy is essential.

    Benefits:

    • R228 321 per annum (Level 05), basic salary.
