    Purpose of the Role:

    To appoint a qualified contractor to repair the leaking roof at the SAPS State House located at 16A Nuwe Street, Ladybrand. The work will restore the building’s structural integrity and prevent water damage, ensuring the premises are safe and weatherproof.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct site inspection to assess extent and source of the leaks

    • Remove or replace damaged roofing materials

    • Seal and waterproof all affected roof areas

    • Ensure all work meets safety, building, and quality standards

    • Perform quality checks and final inspection with department officials

    • Comply with all procedures and standards outlined in the tender documentation

    Minimum Requirements:

    • CIDB Grading: 1SN or 1GB (or higher)

    • Valid registration with Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB)

    • Proven experience with residential roofing or public infrastructure repairs

    • Ability to work according to government tender specifications

    • Availability of appropriate equipment and skilled labor

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Roofing repair expertise, including leak detection and resolution

    • Understanding of waterproofing techniques and materials

    • Ability to follow public sector procurement and documentation procedures

    • Compliance with occupational health and safety requirements

    • Time management and ability to meet strict project deadlines
