    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide specialized nursing care in collaboration with the multi-professional team.

    • Identify, prevent, and manage risks to maintain patient safety.

    • Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive care environment.

    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.

    • Promote a learning environment to develop staff competence.

    • Ensure accurate charging of all used stock and equipment.

    Qualifications

    • Essential: Degree or Diploma in General Nursing.

    • Desirable: Midwifery and/or a postgraduate certificate/diploma in a relevant specialty area.

    Experience

    • Essential: None required.

    • Desirable: At least 1 year of post-graduate experience before placement in a specialized unit.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Infection prevention and control

    • Pharmacology and scientific nursing principles

    • Patient assessment and nursing process management

    • Nursing record keeping and legal compliance

    • Ability to develop or modify nursing care plans

    • Basic life support trained (ACLS, ATLS, PALS for specialized wards)

    • Risk identification and management

    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
