Objective
To appoint accredited contractors to provide comprehensive routine, preventative, and reactive maintenance services for NLC Provincial Offices over a five-year period, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Scope of Work
The scope includes but is not limited to:
General Building Maintenance

Technical Requirements
Bidders must:

Be registered with CIDB at 4GB or higher, or capable of registration before evaluation

Submit valid CIDB certificate

Provide valid Tax Clearance Certificate

Submit Letter of Good Standing (Compensation Commissioner)

Provide a detailed methodology and project plan
-
Submit response-time schedule for routine and emergency maintenance
-
Provide a comprehensive pricing schedule (unit rates and 5-year totals)
-
Achieve minimum evaluation points (functionality, compliance, experience)
Skills & Capacity Requirements
Contractors must demonstrate:

Qualified personnel in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, steelwork, etc.

Relevant trade certifications and registrations
-
Proven experience in similar building maintenance contracts (last 5 years)

Capacity to mobilise quickly for emergency repairs

Effective communication and reporting systems
-
Ability to manage multi-site maintenance nationally
