Tender Overview
The Department of Public Works invites qualified professionals to submit quotations for Quantity Surveying Services for the heritage repair and refurbishment of the Tweeling Magistrate’s Office.

Project Objective
The objective is to:

Scope of Work
Quantity Surveying Services
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets
- Manage cost control throughout all project stages
- Compile Bills of Quantities (BoQ) for all disciplines
Project Financial Management
- Measure and value civil, electrical, and mechanical works
- Certify completed work for payment
- Assess variations and manage final accounts
Coordination
- Work closely with engineers and other consultants
- Support multidisciplinary project execution
Reporting & Monitoring
- Track project costs and progress
- Provide regular reports and updates
- Ensure compliance with project requirements
Technical Requirements
- Compliance with:
- CIDB standards
- Manual for Consultant Quantity Surveyors (QS 001)
- Preparation of:
- Bills of Quantities
- Cost reports and financial documentation
- Implementation of cost control systems
- Use of compatible project software
- Adherence to timelines, milestones, and sustainability principles
Skills & Experience Required
- Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor
- Proof of registration with the relevant council
- Experience on similar projects within the past 5 years
- Ability to manage multi-disciplinary project costs
- Strong track record of quality delivery and compliance
- Qualified team with relevant CVs and certifications
- Professional indemnity insurance (required)
- Financial capacity to execute the project
