The role is for an experienced Head Chef to lead a busy, high-quality kitchen. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong culinary portfolio, and can combine creativity with operational excellence. This is an international opportunity on a tropical island.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations: food preparation, cooking, and plating.

Develop, update, and innovate menus based on seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.

Maintain quality standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.

Lead, train, motivate, and supervise kitchen staff to create a productive, positive environment.

Manage inventory, order supplies, and implement cost control to minimize waste.

Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Monitor kitchen performance and introduce improvements for efficiency and consistency.

Collaborate with management on specials, events, and menu launches.
Minimum Requirements

Relevant culinary qualification or certification (Diploma/Certificate in Culinary Arts or Pastry Arts).

Relevant Chef & Pastry Certification is non-negotiable.

Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role (Sous Chef or higher).

Proven track record of managing a kitchen team and daily operations.

Practical experience portfolio demonstrating skills and creativity.
