     Purpose

    This internship is designed to help graduates gain practical experience in student support, advising, and academic development.

    You’ll be part of the GPS (Graduation Positioning Support) programme, helping students succeed academically and graduate on time.

     Key Responsibilities

     Student Support & Communication

    • Handle student queries via calls, emails, and messages
    • Provide guidance and support through GPS communication channels

     Data & Administration

    • Capture and manage student interaction data
    • Maintain databases and tracking systems
    • Assist with surveys, attendance registers, and reports

     Academic Support

    • Provide tutoring and advising support
    • Help develop student support resources

     Research & Development

    • Contribute to improving student support programmes
    • Assist with research and data analysis

     Training & Development

    • Participate in ongoing training programmes
    • Build skills in coaching, communication, and student development

     Minimum Requirements

     Bachelor’s degree or B-Tech (NQF Level 7)
     At least 1 year experience in:

    • Tutoring
    • Student assistant roles
    • Teaching assistant roles
    • Student leadership programmes

     Important Eligibility Rules

    You must:

    • NOT be currently in another internship/learnership
    • Have no formal full-time work experience
    • Be available for the full 12 months
    • Be willing to sign an internship agreement
