Objective

To establish a framework enabling agreement with a maximum of 10 contractors to provide labour, plant, transport, and equipment required for electrification and infill projects within the Free State Operating Unit on an “as and when required” basis.

Scope of Work

Selected contractors will be required to deliver the following services:

• Provision of skilled and unskilled labour

• Supply of plant and equipment

• Provision of transport services

• Execution of electrification activities

• Implementation of infill development works

• Work performed as required across the Free State Operating Unit

The contract will operate as a rate-based framework, where work is issued through work orders based on Eskom’s operational needs.

Key Deliverables

Contractors will be expected to:

• Provide labour, plant, transport and equipment as requested

• Deliver electrification and infill works according to Eskom standards

• Ensure all works comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements

• Maintain operational readiness and respond quickly to issued work orders

• Submit required documentation, reports, and compliance records

Technical Requirements

Bidders must meet the following minimum requirements:

• CIDB Contractor Grading: 1EP or higher

• Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)

• Ability to supply required labour and equipment for electrification projects

• Compliance with Eskom’s specifications for electrification and infill works
