Position Summary:
The Male Shop Assistant will support daily retail operations at Secondhand Hut by assisting customers, managing sales, and ensuring smooth store functioning. The ideal candidate is experienced in retail sales, computer-literate, and capable of working under stressful conditions while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases.

Manage sales transactions and basic merchandising tasks.

Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and presentation.

Support inventory tracking and stock management as needed.

Work efficiently under pressure during busy retail hours.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ retail sales experience.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in basic merchandising.

Computer literate; electronics knowledge is an advantage.

Proficiency in Afrikaans (required).

Matric certificate and valid RSA ID.

Valid driver’s license.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful retail environment.
