Tender Overview
Maluti-a-Phofung Water (SOC) Ltd is seeking qualified service providers to deliver comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Training. The initiative ensures employees are trained to work safely, comply with legal standards, and maintain a secure operational environment across the organization.
Objectives
- Provide structured OHS training tailored to Maluti-a-Phofung Water operational environments
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and risk management among employees
- Support locality and ownership goals in line with procurement policies
Scope of Work
The service provider will:
- Deliver OHS training sessions according to the specifications in the tender documentation
- Provide training materials, manuals, and resources for participants
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including POPIA, RICA, and other safety regulations
- Maintain records of attendance, training outcomes, and certification
- Adhere to contract requirements including uptime, response time, and service delivery levels
Technical Requirements
- Proven experience delivering Occupational Health and Safety training programs
- Compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks (POPIA, RICA, Occupational Health and Safety Act, etc.)
- Submission of CIDB grading of at least 1 GB, registered or renewed within 3 years
- Proof of municipal rates clearance (≤ 3 months arrears)
- Valid CSD summary report and tax compliance status with PIN
- Commitment to a 12-month service contract with ≥ 90% uptime and ≤ 1-hour response time
- Completion of all supplementary forms and municipal documentation as required
Skills & Qualification Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality OHS training
- Ability to develop and present effective training materials
- Knowledge of OHS legal compliance and safety standards
- Project management skills for coordinating multiple training sessions
- Capacity to meet service-level agreements including uptime and response times
- Registration with CIDB and relevant professional certifications to prove technical capability
