This is a technical, hands-on electrical network role focused on maintenance, repair, and construction up to 132 kV.
Job Description
You’ll be responsible for ensuring continuity of electricity supply by executing all planning, operating, maintaining, repairing, and building work on the electrical network in line with Eskom standards, policies, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on the network
- Repair faults to restore supply
- Build and maintain electrical assets
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols
- Provide training to junior staff or colleagues
- Deliver excellent customer service
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Artisan Trade Certificate (Dry Trade) – NQF 4, 120 credits
- 2 years’ experience in distribution network operation and maintenance
