Role Purpose
The Support Assistant is responsible for executing high-quality, detailed administrative tasks within the financial services or life assurance environment. The role demands accuracy, consistency, and a strong service orientation. Key Responsibilities

Upload and follow up on client service requests, including:

Premium queries
-
Change of beneficiary or broker
-
Debit order instructions
-
Letters of authority
-
Claims and policy amendments
-

Check and capture new applications within 4 hours, with 95% accuracy
-
Perform daily routine admin procedures in line with internal SLAs
-
Monitor incomplete applications and outstanding service requests
-
Communicate outstanding documentation or requirements to relevant stakeholders
-
Provide admin support to Life Specialists and intermediaries
-
Supply quotations and statements of benefits upon request

Assist with organizing broker workshops

Complete required annual system assessments
-
Maintain and achieve service level standards consistently
Minimum Requirements
Education

Matric / Grade 12
Experience

Minimum of 2 years in an administrative role within:

Financial Services
-
Life Assurance industry

Basic understanding of life assurance and financial services
Computer Literacy

Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly:
