Job Overview:
The role is with a top-tier mining client and involves providing expertise in rock engineering in an operational setting, including safety assurance, geological assessments, and support design. This is a senior technical role requiring strong practical and managerial experience in mining environments.
As a ROCK ENGINEER, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and safety of mining operations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor of Science / BTech (NQF Level 7) in:
- ROCK ENGINEER experience in field projects

Geology

Mining
- Certificate in Rock Mechanics (Rock Engineering) – ESSENTIAL
- Minimum 7 years’ operational rock engineering experience
- Minimum 3 years in middle management (operational)

Proven track record as a ROCK ENGINEER in complex environments is essential.
