Project Objective:
To appoint a qualified and experienced contractor to perform pipe-jacking and horizontal directional drilling works beneath national roads, railway crossings, and water courses as part of the Senekal Bucket Eradication Project. The works aim to improve infrastructure and water management systems with minimal disruption to existing services and environment.
Scope of Work:

Execute pipe-jacking and horizontal drilling across designated national roads, railway crossings, and water courses within the project area.

Conduct all construction activities in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.

Minimize disruption to traffic, railway operations, and water flow during works.

Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Complete all activities within the agreed contract period of one year.
Technical and Contractor Requirements:

Contractors must hold a CIDB grading of 4CE (Civil Engineering) or 4SC (Specialist Civil Works) or higher.

Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Demonstrate capacity to deploy qualified personnel and suitable equipment for pipe-jacking and horizontal drilling.

Adhere to standards governing construction near national infrastructure and sensitive environmental areas.
Experience and Skills Required:

Proven track record in pipe-jacking and horizontal directional drilling projects, especially involving crossings of roads, railways, and water courses.

Ability to manage complex infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders.

Expertise in operating specialized horizontal drilling equipment and managing safety protocols.
