Objectives
- Provide major service, supply, installation, and repair of air-conditioning units across multiple sites in the Northern Cape Region.
- Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and replacement of units to support Vaal Central Water operational needs.
Scope of Work
- Supply, install, repair, and service air-conditioning units in offices, stores, recreational halls, guest houses, pump stations, and other facilities.
- Handle all unit types: portable, split, cassette, and VSD units.
- Replace units in poor or very poor condition to ensure functional and reliable operation.
- Include all travel, delivery, and installation costs in the pricing.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
Technical Requirements
- Units must meet specified BTU ratings and location-specific requirements.
- Installation must ensure proper operation, safety, and functionality, compatible with remote controls where applicable.
- Repairs and servicing must restore units to optimal working condition.
- All work must comply with applicable electrical and mechanical safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in servicing various AC brands: LG, Carrier, GMC, Platonic, Delonghi, etc.
- Technical expertise in installation, repair, and maintenance of units ranging from 1.9 kW to 36,000 BTU.
- Personnel must have qualifications in electrical and mechanical installation and servicing of AC systems.
- Proven track record in similar projects and ability to work reliably with minimal downtime.
- Knowledge of and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
