Job description
Ampath Laboratories is looking for a Phlebotomist to join their team at Bloemfontein Mediclinic Care Centre.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of patient care, responsible for collecting specimens with precision and compassion while ensuring a seamless and professional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood and non-blood specimens accurately
- Ensure proper handling and labelling of samples
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Handle payments and administrative tasks where required
- Deliver excellent patient care and communication
- Follow safety and quality standards at all times
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Phlebotomy or Nursing
Registration
- Registered with:
- HPCSA OR
- SANC
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience as a phlebotomist or similar role
Other Requirements
- Valid Code B driver’s license
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Willingness to work weekends
